  • Packing away any ground equipment.
  • Cleaning the changing rooms and showers.
  • Checking availability for the next game.
  • Cleaning up any debris or unwanted materials from the pitch.
  • Cover the ground if wet weather is expected to ensure it's ready for the next game.
  • Store any equipment used in a safe place.

    The ECB has launched an online service to Find a Fixture, Ground and Player.

    • Find a Fixture will assist teams in arranging fixtures.
    • Find a Ground offers clubs to search for available grounds to host a fixture or hiring out their own facilities.
    • Find a Player will help an individual get back into cricket or for the club to field a full team.
